Port Augusta Cup

It’s the premier event on Port Augusta’s social calendar and this year the annual Port Augusta Cup is going to be one of the biggest yet.
The past few years has seen the event grow and this year the Port Augusta Racing Club is preparing for one of its biggest crowds.
For the first time in a number of years, the Elders Bar will reopen as a public bar, with the Hardy’s Bar catering for Members on Cup Day.
Entertainment
As well as all the great racing action, there will be fashions on the field, a punters club run by John Letts, children’s entertainment, food and drink stalls, great food from the Racetrack Café, tab facilities and oncourse bookmakers in the Hannahville Hotel Betting Ring.
Hospitality
Marquee packages have been restyled this year and cater for individuals or large groups.
This year, all racegoers purchasing marquee packages will be in one huge, fully enclosed trackside marquee guaranteed to have a great atmosphere.
Included in the package is entry to the course and the marquee, which will include live entertainment, food and a bar.
Catering in the marquee will again be by well-known Chef Chas Draper, assisted by local Rotary members, serving a Yum-Cha entrée and Gourmet Barbecue main course.

Packages & Tickets
Corporate Package
$55 per person
Book early for Cup Day’s prime location. With only a limited number of marquees available, seats need to be booked early to ensure your group doesn’t miss out.
Ideally suited for corporate groups and those who want to be among all the action and excitement of the Port Augusta Cup but still have their own, exclusive marquee.
Cost is $55 per person, minimum of 15 people per group booking.
Package includes entry to the course, private marquee in front of the historic grandstand, and pre-ordered alcohol placed on ice in marquees.
Alcohol can be pre-ordered and pre-paid and placed in marquee.
Please note: As unconsumed alcohol, even if it has been pre-paid, can not be taken off course due to licensing requirements so it is better to underestimate the quantity needed.

Marquee Package

Bookings can be made in tables of 10 or as individuals or larger groups.
Included in the package is entry to the course and the marquee, quality food and entertainment.

Backside Trackside
$30 per person
Get your Backside Trackside with this package that guarantees you a front row seat to all the Cup Day racing action.
The exclusive area is roped off to ensure you and your friends can sit and enjoy the best view on course with an uninterrupted view of the racing action.
$30 per person and includes entry to the course and the Backside Trackside area.
Gold Members Guest Passes
$60 per member's guest
Invite your friends into the Member’s Bar on Cup Day, with the Hardy’s Bar dedicated to Port Augusta Racing Club Members only on the City's biggest day of racing.
As part of a Gold Membership, Gold Members are able to invite two guests into the Member’s Bar at $60 per person.
This gives them entry to the course and entry to the Hardy’s Bar with snacks served throughout the day
A race book is not included.
Pre-booking of tickets is required.
