RACE 1 - 11:52AM Spring Racing Carnival at Morphettville - Oct. 9 - Nov. 6 Handicap (1100 METRES)

STREET LIFE has been racing in great form and only beaten 3 lengths behind Miss Albania at Flemington last time. His previous on a bottomless Gawler track was good and he must be given plenty of thought here. SPANISH HEIRLOOM is lightly raced and won four consecutive races before she led behind Muntaseera in the Redelva. She got back first-up from a spell and was good late and must be respected here. MAGNA BELLA was a good winner first-up over 1100m back in April and ran through some handy races finishing 4th behind Groundswell in the R A Lee. She races well fresh and maps perfectly from barrier four. FREE OF DEBT draws out wide but gets in here well with the claim. EXTRA MILE was back to his best last time on heavy track and draws a nice barrier.

SELECTIONS: 3 STREET LIFE, 6 Spanish Heirloom, 2 Magna Bella

RACE 2 - 12:32PM The Junction Handicap (1200 METRES)

CROWN MINT was very good first-up making good late ground behind Yulong Code at Murray Bridge. He is a winner second-up and stays at 1200m which looks right in his wheelhouse. EXTRA TIME has a good record and was tried in the Group 1 Coolmore in the Spring and hasn’t raced since the Nitschke Stakes. He’s trialled up well and looks suited here from the inside gate. ECHOES IN ETERNITY can be an improver here back on op of the ground and she has won two of five starts here. GIGGLON was good behind Left hand Man first-up and has won two of five second-up starts.

SELECTIONS: 7 CROWN MINT, 2 Extra Time, 8 Echoes In Eternity

RACE 3 - 1:07PM Accolade Wines Maiden Plate (Heat 5 NJT Series) (1200 METRES)

CASTLE OF KINGS was beaten first-up from a spell when favourite at Murray Bridge. He’s been heavily backed in early markets and is a horse with talent, he looks hard to beat here despite a sticky barrier. WHEELS OF COURGE hit the line strongly first-up from a break behind So Say Angel at Morphettville and looks an improving type. He’s halved his opening price here and maps to get a nice run. TAVIKAT was placed at his first two starts before running 4th in the Sires’ Produce at Group 3 level before a break and must be kept safe here. HARDTOEXPLAIN is an All Too Hard gelding on debut for the Richard and Chantelle Jolly stable who has trialled OK and has been specked at a double figure price.

SELECTIONS: 2 CASTLE OF KINGS, 14 Wheels Of Courage, 13 Tavikat

RACE 4 - 1:47PM Fleurieu Milk Company Handicap (2025 METRES)

LIVINGSTONE FALLS is lightly raced and was a $1.60 favourite at Bendigo when 2nd behind Just Jake three starts back and then chase home Worsfold at Sandown. He had market support last time when beaten 7.75 lengths behind Mr Brightside but was forced back from a wide gate and only got going late. Getting out in trip looks ideal. ADONIS KICK was a good winner at Moe on heavy ground last time and the stable has a great record when they come to Adelaide. Local CAPRICORN RIDGE bolted in at Ballarat three starts back and his past two in Melbourne have been good for this His Caulfield effort beaten 2.25 lengths behind Cru Classe two back good enough to be in the finish here.

SELECTIONS: 12 LIVINGSTONE FALLS, 2 Adonis Kick, 6 Capricorn Ridge

RACE 5 - 2:27PM 36° South Beef Handicap (1050 METRES)

BONES brings some handy Victorian form here and comes off a good Coleraine win and he was favourite at Flemington three starts back. That looks solid form for a race like this. OLD TIME ROCK went to the line with plenty to offer and should been fighting out the finish when last behind Winning Weather last week. He draws a good gate and must be kept very safe. NANTUCKET has the one win and four placings from his 10 starts and is capable of improving in a race like this. RANSOM TRUST ran well first-up from a spell behind Bones at when specked at a price and must be given some thought here from an inside barrier. ALL IN WAR has been bursting to win a race since coming to SA and made good ground behind Silver In Red at Balaklava. POINT BLAZE draws out here first-up but has talent and was a Gawler winner three starts back beating She’s Stylish and hasn’t raced since chasing home Cherry Tortoni in the Adelaide Guineas. FORCHE is a former Victorian who was a Benalla winner two starts back and looked disappointing on face value last time.

SELECTIONS: 1 BONES, 6 Old Time Rock, 2 Nantucket

RACE 6 - 3:07PM Furphy Handicap (1600 METRES)

SEINERS EXPRESS looks perfectly placed here winning consecutive races at Flemington before running 3rd behind I’m Thunderstruck last time. That form reads very well for this even despite a wide gate and scratched from Sydney for this. NOT USUAL GLORIOUS has been super impressive since coming to SA and was freshened after he was beaten by stablemate Mahis Angel at Gawler. He draws out with a big weight but will be right in the finish. Stablemate JAGUARY has a record and won three of his past four starts. He’s trialled nicely since gets the claim and should be thereabouts. HASTA LA WAR is first-up from the carnival here and on the comeback trail. His first-up effort behind Magna Bella back in April coming off a year on the sidelines was OK and he could be run a big race here. TURFIT is on the back-up from a good win here last week and should be thereabouts. NONAME LANE is racing well and should be given some thought WINGS OF PASTRAMI tried hard behind Zoist last time out and was placed here at her only start this track and trip.

SELECTIONS: 5 SEINERS EXPRESS, 1 Not Usual Glorious, 3 Jaguary

RACE 7 - 3:47PM Rex Brennan Handicap (1600 METRES)

MELODY MAN got a long way back before powering late to be beaten less than a length behind Marina at Murray Bridge last time. SHE’S A KARAKA was OK behind Morialta last time out at Murray Bridge. Her previous win was impressive she draws out and can be in the finish with the blinkers ging back off. TIBETAN was good behind Turfit last week and has been placed at all four starts here. CENSORED won at Bendigo in December 2019 as a $2.30 favourite and should be ready to improve after three runs back from a lengthy break. MARINA raced on speed and was strong defeating Love Venus last time, which is a strong pointer here, ANOTHER FREE GLASS was impressive back in class, MALINONG CLUB has some upside and was impressive back in class two starts back.

SELECTIONS: 4 MELODY MAN, 5 She’s A Karaka, 1 Tibetan

RACE 8 - 4:22PM Grand Syndicates Handicap (1050 METRES)

PIMM’S PARTY is a nice mare with a good record and has two wins and a second from four starts here. She has trialled nicely for her return and can give this a big shake first-up. MUTINOUS is unbeaten in two starts for Travis Doudle and was too sharp for Naleigh at Gawler last time. He gets in here well with the claim, will make his own luck from the gate and should take some beating. ARAY OF SUNSHINE was good first-up behind Hills on the Parks track back in June and then was OK behind Frankie Pinot. She’s eight weeks between runs but is smart on her day. HEROIC CHIEF won smartly first-up and should be right in the mix here with Todd Pannell booked to ride. ELITE LEGACY had specking at a price behind Zorro’s Dream at Flemington last time and maps to get a nice run from a middle barrier. HUFFINGTON was a good winner here two starts back beating Champagne Dreams and race on speed before weaking first-up behind Free Of Debt, KIRINIA was a winner here back in December and trialled OK at Balaklava recently.

SELECTIONS: 10 PIMM’S PARTY, 9 Mutinous, 7 Array Of Sunshine

RACE 9 - 4:57PM Barossa Fine Foods Handicap (1200 METRES)

Looks a competitive betting and race and happy to have something each-way on ENCHATNTINGLY who was knocking on the door before a small set-back. She was runner-up behind Icecrusher last time out, has trialled nicely and Todd Pannell riding gives her every possible chance at each-way odds. WILD IMAGINATION was placed at her first two starts before beating Grey Vitality at Murray Bridge. She’s trialled nicely behind Ironclad and is sure to run well here. SPELMAN was good beating Ammo Amor back in class and draws to get a good run from the inside. ROMALETTE led them up last time and gets here well with the claim but faces a sticky wide gate. MASSERSCHMITT has a been racing only fairly but has performed well here in the past when in the Freedman camp.

SELECTIONS: 8 ENCHANTINGLY, 11 Wild Imagination, 6 Spelman
