Looks the perfect race for MASSARU WARRIOR he looked the winner when he was run down by Back Pocket at Balaklava last week. Hard to take the price after having something on at 20/1 last week but Jason Holder goes on here and he's the one to beat. AMMO LOCO looks the danger, the John Hickmott and Carrina Riggs stable is flying and he was a winner here two starts back. YOUNG LARS draws the inside gate and was OK behind Whiskey ‘N’ Women at Murray Bridge last time. DELUXE DESIGN has been specked at a price.

LEANNA BELLE has a good formline having chased home Rusty Halo at Murray Bridge last time and that form has held-up in Saturday class since. HARD RANSOM wasn’t far away behind Free Wilma at Balaklava last time out and has trialled well since. There has been solid money for VAMPIRE SLAYER who is trained locally and trialled OK running behind Ultimate Addiction at Balaklava. SHE’S ESTELLE was runner-up behind Howl at Balaklava and has some appeal.

RACE 3 - 12:45PM Gawler Carnival of Cups – Oct 15-24 Maiden Plate (1522 METRES)
The money has been for UNDERSTATEMENT who made good ground behind Malinong Club at Balaklava last week and has the in-form Jason Holder in the saddle. He looks the one to beat here getting out in trip. PILOT’S BOULEVARD had solid specking but had excuses behind Another Free Glass last week at Balaklava. He looks a danger to the favourite. TRANSFERENCE comes out of the same race and had a gun run but was searching for the same run as Pilot’s Boulevard and must be respected here. SEMYORKA was good behind Sicilian Witness at Balaklava last time out and looks well placed from a good barrier here. SUPERB TIME draws well and is over the odds.

Giving AUSSIE SOJOURN another chance here after she got well out of her ground at before making good ground when the race was all over at Port Augusta. She draws a good barrier and the extra trip appeals. LE DUPE was a Balaklava winner three starts back and was OK last week behind Back Pocket at Balaklava. GALAXY FALLS is another coming back from a dirt and his recent form has been OK for a race like this. ARMAMENT made a long wide run last time and his form last campaign would have him in the mix in this class.

RACE 5 - 1:55PM GC&J Constructions Benchmark 56 Handicap (1522 METRES)
Open race with a few winning chance and CALL ME DEXTER can hit back here after running 2nd at his past two both here on his home track. He gets the claim and his chance to break through. DON’T DISMISS has a great record here and was placed behind Ammo Loco last time. He loves a wet track and should be there abouts. FIGHT FOR FREEDOM comes out of a handy race chasing home Morialta who is a good form reference for this class. HARBOURING was a Balaklava winner three starts back.The best version of CARBONE would be right in the finish here he was a Strathalbyn winner five runs back. POLLYANNA is over the odds from a good barrier with Todd Pannell in the saddle.

RACE 6 - 2:30PM Gawler Club Memberships – due now! Benchmark 56 Handicap (1522 METRES)
Looks to be two main winning hopes here. MORTY probably should have won two starts back at Balaklava and then was in need to racing and pay to forget this latest run behind Morialta at Murray Bridge. His form last prep would take him a long way to winning this. MUFFLA looks readt to fire and he finished off well behind The Brumby last start. Inside gate could be a slight issue but he;s going to look the winner at some stage. SUPER LOOKA was a Murray Bridge winner three starts back the blinkers go on and he looks over the odds. DETENTORE has Todd Pannell and strips fitter, he has been specked early along with GETOUTTHEWAY who was well backed and let behind Morialta last time and pay to keep him safe.

Gone for some each-way value here EFFORKAT was a Murray Bridge winner three starts back and has raced in stronger company than this. The inside gate is a slight concern but his best would be winning here. FREE WILMA was too good for The Trance Factor at Balaklava first-up in Sa and looks well placed again here. The good money has been for LOVE MAGIC who had some handy form last time in work running 2nd behind Annika at Morphettville and was a winner here. CARTIER TIARA has three wins from four starts here and must be respected, BETTER was racing OK last time in work and draws out but has Jason Holder in the saddle. WANDERING EYE broke through at Port Augusta last time.

RACE 8 - 3:40PM Terrace Function Centre Benchmark 56 Handicap (1100 METRES)
Tricky little race with a the locals holding the key, getting back on to a soft track could be the key for CHEVITE who has on three of eight here and jumped favourite when 5th here last time behind Rustydustysunshine. RUSTYDUSTYSUNSHINE has a great record on his home track and scored at nice odds last time. He looks a big winning chance again. SIR JOHNSON is another local who resumed here and has placed at two of six starts, he was right in the market at all runs before a spell and is sure to be right in the mix. RITORNO has good first-up record and was runner-up behind Kingson. LICORICE BULLET has a great on a heavy track and can be placed at a price.

Looks a god race for GO BUNDLE has a good record and was impressive powering away from Our Tigersun to win smartly here last time. He draws well and can win again. BOLT BY looks some each-way value, he was a Murray Bridge winner beating Effortkat back in January. He has trialled a couple of times draws a nice barrier and should be in this for a long way. HI SMOKEY was a Balaklava winner three starts back and can roll forward and be right in the finish here. MR WHITACRE is the watch horse a former NSW galloper who has won his past two and has been specked in early betting.
