Patrons welcomed back to SA race tracks

Dear SA Racing Industry,  

Following on from today’s announcement around density restrictions easing, Racing SA, in consultation with the relevant Clubs, is happy to announce the following updates for the racing week ahead: 

WHERE, WHEN & HOW MANY  

Gawler, Wednesday, 4 August: 
The Gawler and Barossa Jockey Club has advised 25% capacity with bookings recommended.  

Port Augusta, Friday, 6 August: 
The Port Augusta Racing Club has advised essential racing personnel only. 

Murray Bridge, Saturday, 7 August: 
The Murray Bridge Racing Club has advised 50% capacity with bookings recommended.  

Bordertown, Sunday, 8 August: 
The Bordertown Racing Club has advised 50% capacity. 

Trials Morphettville, Monday, 9 August: 
Trials on the Parks track will be conducted from the training stalls. Essential personnel only in the training stalls. Spectators/Owners will have access to watch the trials through the Main Gate (into the general public area). 

Balaklava, Wednesday, 11 August: 
The Balaklava Racing Club has advised 50% capacity with bookings recommended.  

SA Racing Clubs will be managing the return of patrons by operating under a COVIDSafe Plan to ensure appropriate wearing of masks and social distancing and hygiene measures are maintained.

Please note, patrons, members and owners will not be permitted into the Mounting Yard at any race track.
